Unfortunately it is time to leave now. After a very successful hunt which included red deer, mouflon sheep, fallow deer, feral goat and a 20 cm wild boar we must return to the world of reality.
I must say everything here at Algar was excellent. The food was way too good. I usually don't gain weight in a hunt but I fear for the worst.
I will recommend this hunt to anyone, so please feel free to use me as a reference. I would like to return in a few years because I belive the quality of stags will get better and better with the current breeding program.
I wish all at Algar the best, you are wonderful people.

I fully endorse their comments and appreciate gestures and thus will not repeat them.
However, all comments do not fully describe the beauty of the countryside, the animals and most of all, the people. One leaves with a sense of acquiring true friends and relations that will continue. You will as weel, once you see and understand the breeding programs (which is relatively unique in Argentina) will retur to see the majesty of the red stags roaming the free range. The scheduled expansion of the breeding program only ensures the great success and satisfaction of future hunters.
Tommy and the stuff are truly ambassadors for Algar.

Reading through the previous pages of this book I noticed that all the witty stuff and superlatives have been used up already. So, I will come down to cases and say that simply, both my wife Nancy and I have had a great experience and a great time. The place, the people, "el entorno" of the hunt, and the visit will be a great memory for years to come… or, until the next visit, which should not be too far off in the future.

I would like to starg out by thanking everyone involved in my hunting experience. Tom, kitchen crew, guides (especially Emilio) and fellow hunters.
I was very impressive to see game so often, thanks to Emilio ("the man") This accounts for the fast start on Monday taking a large Red Stag.
We took Tuesday off to tour Bariloche. Wednesday, we were back with Emilio hunting again. I'm proud to say, we scored again with an evey bigger stag than Monday.
Thursday is the final memory of a stock on a wild goat, a stock done to near perfection!
The trip has many great memories for me but the best thing is sharing these memories with my nearest hunting pertner, my wife.

From the time we booked the trip initially we have had nothing but excellent communication and adivisement from Liliana and her staff in all aspects of the trip! I have never had or seen such willingness to help with transport, hotels, extra activities off the ranch.
Now, what can I say about the hunting experience on ALGAR? It has been the most exhilarating, stimulating visit hunting with Algar. Emilio's skills as a guid and hunter are very obvious in the hunt. We were successful with every goal we set due to him and Tommy and of couse Helmut's great shot! The horses add a different perspective that has illicited a second visit without a doubt!
Liliana and Alberto could not have been more gracious hosts. We felt totally at home with them, enjoyed a very warm atmosphere in the evenings for dinner. Javier assisted us throuout our stay and his English skills proved invaluable.
I could go on and on alas I must stop here.
